Antique Art Nouveau William Kerr Sterling Silver Repousse Maiden & Violets Clothes Brush
This is a beautiful
Antique c. 1900 Art Nouveau William Kerr Sterling Silver Repousse Maiden Woman & Violet Flowers Vanity Clothes Brush.  Measuring 7 1/2″  long x 2 1/2″ wide and weighing 161.3 grams.  The brush has a repousse design of an Art Nouveau woman with long flowing hair and violet flowers.
There is a fancy script monogram.
Signed on the side STERLING with the William B. Kerr maker’s mark and 1447, the model number.
Condition is very, very good.  There are a few very tiny pin dot size dings without the usual dents seen on the sides of these brushes.  The bristles of the brush are full and I did not notice any loss.  There is some minor age discoloration to the bristles.
